Construction is the second largest industry in Kazakhstan in terms of the number of enterprises, in which according to the Bureau of National Statistics at the beginning of 2024 the number of registered legal entities amounted to 71139 units or 13% of the total number of enterprises. The development of construction is important for creating jobs, improving housing conditions, improving the quality of life of the population through the development of transport infrastructure, creating conditions for the development of logistics, transportation, trade, processing industry.

To conduct the study considered publications devoted to the analysis of trends and prospects of the construction industry in open sources, analyzed the data of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, characterizing the state of development of the construction industry in Kazakhstan over the past decades. The existing expert opinions, analytical materials of PwC and other companies have been studied

The conducted analysis of the state of development of enterprises in the construction industry allows us to conclude that there is a stable demand for construction services, including construction of residential and non-residential premises, as well as the implementation of repair works (current and capital repairs), various works on the construction of various infrastructure facilities. The study sheds light on the complexity of interrelated problems in the development of the construction industry and allows us to conclude that it is necessary to comprehensively consider the factors affecting it
